Glenville

Glenville is east of the river, between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Lakeview Road. The small village of Glenville once served as a resort community to Cleveland's wealthy residents but was annexed by the City in 1905. Civil unrest in the 1960s caused visable urban decay but efforts have been made during the early part of the 21st century to reverse the trend and revitalize the area.
