West Park

West Park was named after a wooded park and lake on John West’s farm which was close to present day Lorain Ave. and West 138th St. West Park boasts tree lined streets and well-maintained houses built from the turn of the century on. It is home to the West Park Police and Firefighters Memorial on Rocky River Drive near McKinley. The neighborhood borders the Cleveland Metroparks and hosts several great events, including The Hooley on Kamm’s Corners the second Saturday in May in “downtown” Kamm’s Corners.
